Any new medium challenges preconceived notions and set patterns. It is the same for this new learning on the iPad using @procreate.
Everything works differently, and yet there is familiarity. I am enjoying using different brushes with varying opacities.
Though for this one, too, I did most of my work on a single layer. ????That is the set pattern that I have to break. I get so engrossed that I forget that I can actually use the power of layers and manipulate each differently!!
I also discovered the joys of using different background colours. Absolute game changer. In traditional media, once you commit to a support base, you are stuck with that. Not so here. This one has endless options. I am still to explore, but this piece is a good start. Swipe to see the initial piece on a white background.
