A few months ago, I had the pleasure of sponsoring a gift pack for Ruchi Nadkarni from the World for all – animal care and adoptions’. This was for a show on NDTV good Times, you can read about that here.
Ruchi called me the other day, and told me about this event being organized at the Blue Frog in Mumbai, called ‘Stray@heart’, to be held on 13th June 2012. It was to be an evening of music and fun for a special cause, to raise money for animals. I was happy to sponsor two Tote bags from the’ The Poonchh Collection‘ for auction.
I am absolutely thrilled that the bags sold at 7000/- INR each, and as a result they were able to raise 14000/- for the animals, from the sale of the two bags alone. 🙂
A very big thank you to Vivek Sharma for purchasing the two bags.
I am not sure about the total amount raised from the event itself, but will tell you all know as soon as I know.
