Déjà Vu – Solo show 2023 – wrap up

I have just wrapped up my solo show Déjà Vu, of works inspired by nature at ‘The Bangalore Room’ here in Bangalore. It was two days of absolute delight – not just because I sold a few works but because I met so many people. Some I knew and some I met for the first time. Some knew me from my online presence. It was a joyful and rejuvenating experience.

But the highlight for me was this image. When someone comes in, asks for a chair sits down, and then proceeds to stare at the paintings for a good 20 minutes. You know you did something right.
I did not have chairs in the gallery. Anand (@beevee999) asked for one and then just decided he was going to do what he was going to do!

This picture tells me my show was a success. 🙂 As an artist there is no greater appreciation and honour…

I am now in the midst of putting the remaining work online so you all can see them and buy them. The catalog should be up soon.
