This painting makes me think of joy and happiness. Of all things wonderful. There is hope and a beckoning… I also love that with all the lines on her face, her simplicity shines through. You know – a kind of ‘up yours’ to the world. ‘You will not define how I look and feel kind of thing.’
(Honestly, that statement or perception is probably me channelling my menopause-ing angst!! :-))
