Over the years I have saved pictures of friends and their families on Facebook or Instagram as a possible reference. A few weeks ago I decided to dive into that folder and start. I put out a post on FB letting everyone know what I planned to do. This is one of the first ones.

This is a portrait of my friend @meghnav. Now the idea when I started was to share snippets on insta stories and do a big reveal. Except she caught on immediately from a very early stage small cropped image of her mouth. Trust me it was difficult deflecting her questions!!

We made friends while we sat outside kindergarten as our secondborns started school. We did not know each other well at that time. She was upset one day and not sure why I decided to bake a batch of brownies for her. So I got up early and made them before heading out to school. The rest as they say is history 🙂

We have been friends for nearly 15 years and have gone through a lot together. She is one of the few people who I can argue with on politics and religion and know it will not be misunderstood. And that is precious in today’s day and age!
