When my friend Ashwini (@ashjaisim) reached out to me to paint a combined portrait of both her parents as a gift for their 56th wedding anniversary, it was a no-brainer. I had travel plans and a few other commissions on tight deadlines, but this had to be done. Mainly because I really admire Mr Jaisim (@jaisimkrishnarao) and his work (@jaisim_fountainhead), and because this year would have been my parents’ 56th wedding anniversary as well. I lost my father in October last year…
Of course, I would paint this portrait.
I am told that they both -“They love it!”
That makes me happy. 🙂
